E1 Ethernet
Interface Converter
|
Description
|
The E1 to Ethernet Converter offers a channelized E1 and 10Base-T
interface conversion. The equipment offers electrical level conversion
between 10Base-T Ethernet interface and a G.703 / E1 (or fractional E1)
interfaces. |
 |
The E1 to Ethernet Converter can read and learn the MAC addresses of the LAN linked to it automatically and forward the object address as the frame of another LAN.
Nearly 10,000 addresses exist on its LAN form and can renew constantly. The highest speed of
running filter and forwarding is 30,000 frames/sec (line speed), the buffers can hold 256 frames.
It may be used to transport 10BaseT data over a channelized E1, or a
fractional *64K(N=0~31) E1 interface. |
Features
- Convert 10Base-T Ethernet interface into
E1 interface
- Transmission interface rate is
N*64K(N=0~31)
- E1 interface could be selected as master
or slave clock operation mode
- E1 interface impedance could be selected
as 75 Ohms or 120 Ohms
- Power supply: AC220V DC / -48V
(optional)
Application
-
Electrical conversion between 10/100Base-T Interface and E1 G.703.
-
Auto-negotiating remote Ethernet bridge, for bridge application or as LAN
extender
Highlights
- Compliant to IEEE 802.3 protocol, and
supports 10M/100M duplexing / half duplexing at LAN Port
-
E1 supports three working modes of transparent transmission, framing and
multiple framing
-
Network interface supports auto-negotiating mode and manual setting mode
- Transparent transmission of long frames in
1528 bytes (without CRC) and supports Ethernet switches with VLAN function
- Built-in dynamic Ethernet MAC address list
(32K bytes)
- Available with MAC address list filtration,
learning and updating functions
-
Available with auto-resetting function. When network port stops receiving
or sending data for about 8 seconds, the auto-resetting circuit will be
able to start automatically, to reduce and maintenance workload for the
system
-
Equipment supports both internal clock and network clock
- Supports RLOOP (E1 port external loop-back)
function
- Power supply AC220V or DC-48V optional
